Robert J. Sabol was born in 1924 to John A. and Caroline Sabol, who lived at 140 First Avenue, in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Robert was one of five children, Johanna, Caroline, Evelyn and John. His father worked at the Post Office as a mail clerk.
